Matrix Design Group, LLC is hiring a Senior DevOps - Azure Infrastructure & Deployment

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Enhance and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Create and manage infrastructure through code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Work closely with software engineering teams to align infrastructure with application architecture and performance needs.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud applications and services.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to deployments, pipeline failures, and environment inconsistencies.
  • Define and document system requirements, architectural designs, and operational workflows.
  • Support testing, validation, and release activities across all stages of the deployment pipeline.
  • Help deploy and configure new products and cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns as needed.
  • Take part in field testing and system validation efforts.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test outcomes, deployment procedures, and infrastructure setups.

  • Daily responsibilities include office, lab, and desk work with occasional field testing.
  • Infrequent requirement to work underground may occur.
  • Potential exposure to large moving machinery during job duties.
