Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for diagnosing production database issues, platform performance on Linux, and cloud environments including hyperscalers
- Lead root cause analysis for high-severity incidents across large-scale, multi-tenant PostgreSQL and MariaDB database systems
- Build monitoring solutions and automated responses to reduce repeat incidents and improve system resilience
- Guide infrastructure strategy decisions that impact the scalability and reliability of the multi-tenant cloud platform
- Provide technical mentorship and work closely with operations, support, and software development teams
