Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and manage ETL processes for reliable data integration
- Transfer data from transactional systems and flat files into the data warehouse environment
- Assist report developers and stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate and delivered on time
- Coordinate tasks with other data operations to align with IT department workflows
- Provide periodic updates to the Data Warehouse Technical Team and supervisory staff
- Collaborate with Data Management Services to align with backup protocols and maintenance windows
- Ensure no unauthorized interference with live database systems during operational hours
Work Arrangement
On-site — Tumwater, WA, Olympia, WA
Other
- Contractor will be supplied with a computer, desk, and phone while working on-site
- Production database systems must not be disrupted during business hours without explicit authorization
- May need to contribute to several concurrent data mart initiatives
