Responsibilities
- Collaborate on advancing data governance and management initiatives across various business units and initiatives.
- Engage directly with business leaders to assess existing data environments, pain points, and strategic needs.
- Document insights from stakeholder discussions and convert them into actionable governance strategies and outcomes.
- Pinpoint and focus on high-value, low-effort opportunities to showcase quick wins and the practical impact of data governance.
- Support the ongoing development and accuracy of the enterprise data catalog, including data definitions, ownership, and metadata.
- Collaborate with Data Quality and Engineering teams to establish, apply, and track data quality standards.
- Aid in creating and maintaining data lineage records and metadata documentation.
- Facilitate coordination of governance tasks across data domains to ensure accountability and progress.
- Maintain clear, consistent records of governance policies, decisions, definitions, and related materials.
- Take part in business-oriented meetings, acting as a liaison between data specialists and non-technical teams.
- Assist in meeting regulatory and audit obligations by ensuring proper governance documentation and controls are in place.

- Capture outcomes from stakeholder meetings and translate them into clear action plans and governance deliverables.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact, low-complexity opportunities to deliver immediate value and demonstrate tangible benefits of data governance.
- Contribute to the enrichment and maintenance of the enterprise data catalog (definitions, ownership, metadata).
- Assist with defining, implementing, and monitoring data quality rules in collaboration with Data Quality and Engineering teams.
- Support data lineage and metadata documentation efforts.
- Help coordinate data governance activities across domains, ensuring follow-through and execution.
- Document governance processes, decisions, definitions, and artifacts clearly and consistently.
- Participate in business-facing sessions and working meetings, serving as a bridge between business and data teams.
- Support regulatory and audit-related data governance requirements through proper documentation and controls.
