Responsibilities
- Create and manage robust data pipelines that handle large-scale data movement and support analytical reporting and business intelligence applications
- Develop automated data workflows in Python to pull data from internal and external systems, process it, and load it into data platforms
- Maintain and enhance foundational data models and transformations to ensure accuracy and usability for business stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to define data requirements and implement reliable solutions
- Build and manage systems that transport data across platforms, ensuring it is structured and accessible for analysis and product features
- Contribute to the evolution of the company's data architecture, including data warehousing, workflow orchestration, transformation logic, and monitoring systems
- Enhance data reliability through validation, testing, and proactive monitoring techniques
- Support integration of data from diverse sources including applications, product systems, and third-party providers
- Promote data governance standards including documentation, naming consistency, and long-term maintainability
- Identify and lead initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency in data infrastructure
- Design optimized data processing workflows that deliver transformed datasets to downstream consumers
- Provide technical leadership in architectural planning and decision-making as a senior team member
- Act as a strategic advisor to colleagues and stakeholders on effective data utilization across the organization
