Responsibilities
- Architect and implement reliable, high-performance ETL and ELT workflows using PySpark and Google Cloud Platform tools including Data Proc, Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and GKE.
- Create system integrations through APIs, microservices, and service-oriented design patterns.
- Develop comprehensive data pipelines supporting drug pricing operations with a focus on performance and efficiency.
- Establish automated CI/CD workflows using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to deploy data processing code and orchestration logic.
- Guide technical direction and design choices for data-intensive analytical platforms.
- Implement monitoring solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting to maintain pipeline stability.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and advocate for strong engineering standards in code quality, version control, cost management, and data security within GCP.
