Responsibilities
- Architect, construct, and maintain a high-performance data platform using Databricks and AWS, aligned with Medallion architecture standards.
- Create and oversee automated data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from key business systems, prioritizing accuracy and efficiency.
- Deploy proactive data quality controls, including checks for timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and anomaly detection, with real-time alerting.
- Develop and sustain a unified Golden Record system for identity resolution and ensure bidirectional synchronization with source platforms.
- Manage data governance practices, including metadata tracking, lineage documentation, and access controls via Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-quality datasets that power reporting, insights, and machine learning.
- Enforce infrastructure-as-code principles, continuous integration, and version control across all data pipeline workflows.
- Engage clearly with stakeholders, navigate uncertainty, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
