NextEnergy Group is hiring a Senior Data Analyst, Geospatial

Responsibilities

  • Lead geospatial and environmental assessments across ESG domains by combining survey data, CAD files, consultant inputs, and public sources to uncover constraints, risks, and opportunities, and deliver clear, strategic insights to leadership.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain interactive dashboards, web-based tools, and high-standard cartographic products using ArcGIS Online and ESRI platforms, ensuring accurate and intuitive data representation aligned with data storytelling standards.
  • Promote geospatial data accuracy, governance, and ongoing enhancement by overseeing spatial databases, standardizing procedures, documenting workflows, and guiding junior team members to cultivate technical excellence and knowledge exchange.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams as needed to manage and maintain ESG and spatial datasets, ensuring data integrity, quality, and adherence to GDPR and relevant regulations.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline analytics and reporting workflows, increasing efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional business units to understand analytical needs, deliver tailored solutions, and support enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of geospatial methods, analysis pipelines, and results, creating clear procedural guidance to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and team-wide knowledge transfer.
  • Support data governance by verifying spatial data accuracy, managing metadata records, and ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory and ESG reporting obligations.
  • Monitor advancements in geospatial analytics, industry standards, and emerging technologies, and propose practical improvements to tools and processes.
