Role Overview
This is a six-month fixed-term contract for a Senior Data Analyst working across varied projects in the interactive entertainment industry. You'll take ownership of analytical initiatives from start to finish—defining questions, analysing data, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on technical work, requiring fluency in data tools and strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle analysis projects, from problem definition through to presentation of findings for senior decision-makers
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client teams, turning complex datasets into clear, persuasive stories
- Write efficient SQL and Python code to process and analyse large-scale data from diverse sources
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that enable teams to explore insights independently
- Adapt your role based on project demands—shifting between strategic guidance and deep technical execution
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years in data analysis, preferably in gaming, consumer technology, or consulting
- Proven experience building meaningful dashboards in BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong command of SQL and Python across different analytical contexts
- Familiarity with cloud data environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with executives, engineers, and product teams
- Flexibility to move between high-level strategy and detailed technical delivery
- Ability to simplify complex findings for broad audiences without losing analytical depth
