Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop Data Aggregation (specialty pharmacy, hub, specialty distributor, 3PL) projects and capabilities; consistently deliver quality client services and drive projects within expected timeframes and on budget.
- Develop data management and reporting suites across patient and channel data.
- Manage analytics and reporting for patient support programs, including hub services, prior authorizations, appeals, and copay assistance
- Work with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development.
- Coordinate with data vendors to establish data exchanges and to resolve data quality issues.
- Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to product development initiatives.
- Work independently or with a team to build out data processes.
- Coordinate with diverse teams, including those globally.
- Provide project leadership for team members regarding process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manage project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafting SOWs for new work, and managing client invoices.
- Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching; contributes to internal initiatives as needed.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on their professional development and serves as their Professional Development Manager.
- Grow external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship between the client and the firm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word; advanced Excel skills required.
- Proven experience implementing or supporting patient and/or payer data management solutions in the US pharmaceutical market.
- Experience working with patient-level claims, hub, and specialty pharmacy data
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant data management.
- Strong project management and people management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of data management best practices in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in specialty therapeutics, oncology, or rare disease
- Knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims structures, including ICD-10, CPT, and NDC codes
- Familiarity with patient services platforms such as Salesforce, AssistRx, or ConnectiveRx
- Experience managing external vendors and partners
Nice to Have
- Experience with specialty distributor EDI (852, 867) data
- Experience with other commercial life sciences datasets (CRM, payer reference, claims, etc.)
- Coding skills (SAS, Python, R, VBA, etc.) and knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
