Responsibilities
- Monitor contractor adherence to contractual and technical standards using the USACE 3-Phase inspection framework, assessing inspection tiers, test methods, and correction records.
- Generate and manage detailed field documentation, including daily logs with work summaries, measurements, calculations, and site observations.
- Engage in technical evaluations of submitted plans and project designs to verify alignment with USACE criteria and specifications.
- Record construction site findings and issue formal notices for deviations from required standards.
- Attend and contribute to construction status meetings and weekly contractor coordination sessions.
- Conduct on-site infrastructure inspections and compile punch lists as needed.
- Capture photographic evidence of project progress and areas requiring correction.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols, USACE mandates, and applicable building codes during utility system installations.
- Support testing, demonstrations, and field guidance activities with relevant team members.
- Address and resolve conflicts arising during construction operations.
