This role is central to maintaining and evolving our global cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. As a Senior Cloud Administrator, you will lead the implementation of secure, resilient, and scalable cloud environments using Infrastructure-as-Code and automation-first principles. You will work closely with engineering teams across Germany, Egypt, and Jordan to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance across systems. Your expertise will directly influence our cloud strategy, operational reliability, and security posture, while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to long-term architectural planning.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and secure Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Manage core Azure services including networking, compute, storage, and identity management.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Automate deployment pipelines and operational workflows using GitHub and CI/CD tools.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.
- Monitor system performance with logging, alerting, and observability tools to ensure platform stability.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues in collaboration with application teams.
- Support cloud architecture enhancements, security hardening, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and services.
- Proven ability to design and manage Azure-based infrastructure at scale.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and integrating CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools for system reliability.
- Experience implementing backup, recovery, and resilience strategies in the cloud.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and identity management.

- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
