Responsibilities
- Lead camera system architecture across Linux and Android platforms, including board-level integration
- Design, implement, and sustain Linux kernel drivers for camera subsystems using V4L2 frameworks
- Integrate and maintain Android Camera Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) components
- Develop and verify Device Tree and DTBO configurations to support camera hardware setup
- Build automated testing pipelines for media graph validation, streaming functionality, and extended stress testing
- Optimize image quality by tuning ISP pipelines with vendor-supplied IQ tools
- Work directly with hardware engineering on CSI interface timing, PHY settings, and sensor integration
- Drive improvements in system performance and ensure long-term reliability of camera platforms
