Role Overview
This position leads the design and implementation of integrated information and control technology (ICT) systems for vehicle assembly and powertrain manufacturing within the NAFTA region. As a senior-level analyst, you will drive cost analysis, system integration planning, and process engineering for new product launches, ensuring alignment with corporate manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of Assembly and Powertrain Cost Studies to support launch planning and investment decisions
- Develop and deliver Advance Manufacturing Engineering (AME) documentation for assembly plant launches
- Serve as technical expert in designing end-to-end ICT solutions using Stellantis platforms
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure on-time delivery of AME and cost-benefit deliverables
- Engineer integration strategies for manufacturing systems including ACC, ANDON, AVI, FIS, KANBAN, MDT/Octoplant, Mercury, OPC (Kepware), PFCS, PFS, QAS, UPS, and Factory Asset Center
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) for ICT integration based on pre-engineering outcomes
- Collaborate with equipment OEMs during process design to define integration touchpoints
- Identify risks in proposed manufacturing processes and lead resolution efforts
- Document proposed solutions, integration designs, and system configurations
- Present progress updates on AME deliverables to stakeholders
- Lead engineering teams in developing comprehensive AME packages
- Generate and maintain cost-benefit analyses for ICT scope across Assembly, Powertrain, and Sales Codes
- Participate in cost-benefit review sessions with manufacturing teams and assess proposed changes
- Coordinate with plant operations, GTO, and other groups to define ICT requirements
- Estimate ICT scope and costs using stakeholder input and historical data
- Produce and deliver study responses in Excel or PowerPoint format to manufacturing planning
- Support funding discussions by presenting technical and financial justifications
- Maintain study tracking systems and ensure data accuracy
- Supervise support staff in the development of study deliverables
- Administer vendor contracts and ensure contractor adherence to technical and compliance standards
