Responsibilities
- Establish and improve middle office operations by advancing data automation processes and systems.
- Use knowledge of IT systems to manage, build, and evaluate large datasets primarily from the ETRM system, as well as external sources like S&P, Moody’s, and internal contract databases.
- Convert extensive data sets into meaningful reports and visualizations using Power BI, PowerPoint, or HEX platforms.
- Design and maintain intuitive dashboards that display key risk metrics, including credit exposure from energy hedges, RECs, HRCOs, and RA, along with Value at Risk, scenario analyses, and limit monitoring.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports on credit risk, trading positions, risk evaluations, operational risks, and performance to executive leadership and risk committees.
- Collaborate with front and back office teams to support enterprise-wide objectives and improve cross-functional workflows.
- Produce high-quality presentation materials for governance meetings, including the Energy Risk Committee and enterprise review sessions.
- Draw on the Energy Trading and Risk Management system as the primary data source for risk monitoring and reporting activities.
- Apply Artificial Intelligence tools to conduct scenario modeling, streamline processes, and validate content accuracy.
