Responsibilities
- With an advanced understanding of SQL, analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to product needs.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics for product, revenue operations, and customer success teams.
- Deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.
- Present complex findings to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating business needs into data requirements and vice versa.
- Develop and maintain standard suite of self-service Tableau dashboards, ensuring their availability and accuracy
- Build trust in the data by digging into data anomalies to determine the root cause and work with the Data Engineering team to resolve them.
- Regular engagement with Eng and Product teams to better understand platform and product changes that will impact the DWH and organizational business needs.
- Contribute to table changes in the Redshift data warehouse to support ongoing analysis needs.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Experience using Tableau or other BI tooling to build comprehensive dashboards
- Familiarity with the modern BI tech stack
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Agile mindset with ability to iterate quickly and adapt to changing business priorities
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives initiatives to completion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and data models
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across multiple business functions
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in programming languages used for data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala)
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines
