EarnIn is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role

Shape the future of a fast-growing fintech marketplace by leading high-impact partnerships from concept to execution. Reporting to the General Manager of the Marketplace Business Unit, you'll define strategic direction and drive initiatives that expand reach, improve customer experience, and strengthen market position.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape both immediate and long-term goals for the Marketplace.
  • Identify, engage, and close strategic partnerships that accelerate growth and deepen product integration.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key external partners to maximize value and alignment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance to ensure seamless integration and execution.
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts and competitive developments to inform partnership strategy and roadmap planning.
  • Act as the internal owner for partner onboarding, ensuring technical and business alignment across functions.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience in technology partnerships, with a strong grasp of product development and scaling initiatives in a high-growth or enterprise environment.
  • Proven success building and managing complex financial or product-based partnerships from early stages through scale.
  • Exceptional organizational and negotiation abilities, with experience handling high-stakes commercial agreements.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt quickly in a fluid, evolving environment.
  • A hands-on, resourceful mindset with a track record of solving challenging business problems.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is highly valued.

Compensation & Work Environment

This is a fully remote role focused on US-based candidates, offering a base salary range of $172,000 – $210,000, equity, and comprehensive benefits. You’ll work within an inclusive, diverse team committed to building equitable financial solutions.
