Role Overview
This position is responsible for supporting key operational areas including Transportation Services, Transit, Fleet, and Cards Management Programs. The analyst will conduct detailed assessments centered on fleet policy, billing processes, customer interactions, and fleet operations. The work involves identifying inefficiencies and risks across financial, operational, and technical domains, then guiding stakeholders toward effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-depth analysis for fleet-related policies, invoicing accuracy, and customer engagement strategies
- Assess current business workflows to uncover financial, operational, and technology-related risks
- Develop and present actionable recommendations to business leaders and program stakeholders
- Collaborate directly with customers and partner organizations to ensure alignment and service quality
- Generate reports from diverse data sources to track trends in credit card and transit programs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in government fleet management, emphasizing policy, billing, and customer support
- Five or more years in financial services, client relations, or commercial card programs
- Experience with federal or commercial travel systems, with federal experience preferred
- Three years working with credit card platforms, including invoice review, reconciliation, and collections processes
- 1–2 years in a senior analyst or team lead capacity
- Proven ability to compile and interpret data from multiple sources using tools like MS Excel
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including dashboard creation, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Familiarity with Citibank systems, Regulation W, and OMB 123 A guidelines
- Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GSA SmartPay2 and government credit card compliance frameworks
- Experience with transit or card program policies and procedures
- Background in process mapping using tools such as Visio
- Hands-on experience with CitiManager or similar commercial card systems
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly data analysis in Excel
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into strategic decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven teamwork and collaborative leadership abilities
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational discipline
- Consistently professional conduct and presentation
