Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with a strong command of Rust to lead the development of reliable, high-performance backend systems. In this role, you will play a central part in crafting efficient, scalable solutions that power advanced AI-driven healthcare applications. You'll work within a remote team across Europe, contributing to both technical direction and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-tested backend services using Rust
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Help define and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment workflows
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services that support complex data workflows
- Support and mentor junior developers to strengthen team-wide technical capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in backend development with a focus on Rust
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with maintainable, efficient code
- Strong commitment to writing testable, reliable, and well-documented software
Technology Environment
You'll be working primarily with Rust, building RESTful APIs and scalable web services that support data-intensive healthcare applications.
Work Environment
