SaxeCap is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build robust Generative AI and machine learning systems. You will join a remote team and the process begins with a 3-week paid part-time trial to ensure mutual fit before a potential full-time offer.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for GenAI and ML platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scale.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and debugging.
- Support communication and coordination with US-based teams.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience with Python at product-based companies.
- Familiarity with modern backend and AI-focused technologies.
- Experience with GenAI configurations or optimization-heavy ML systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Capable of working across multiple technical areas.
- Comfortable with late-night calls to overlap with US time zones.
- Education from Tier-1 colleges only (IITs, BITS, NITs, IIITs).
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position for candidates based in India.
