Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of backend systems in alignment with product goals, ensuring high performance and usability, while regularly updating product managers and designers on progress, successes, and obstacles.
- Work alongside product managers and designers from project start to understand strategic direction, user requirements, and objectives, offering technical input to shape UI/UX designs and backend planning.
- Coordinate with frontend developers to define necessary APIs and frontend capabilities, maintaining open communication for seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
- Develop thoroughly tested, robust code with a focus on quality, including writing unit and end-to-end functional tests.
- Partner with product teams to plan effective release strategies for new features, monitor system performance and user input, and take initiative in resolving emerging issues.
