RUM Group Inc. is hiring a Senior Back-End Developer, Rumble Studio

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage backend services for a real-time, multiuser video production platform using TypeScript and Golang.
  • Take full ownership of systems, from architectural design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
  • Build and sustain REST and GraphQL APIs, improve data efficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis, and maintain service speed, reliability, and fault tolerance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, apply AI-powered development tools while mastering core system principles, and advance engineering quality through code reviews, mentorship, and process refinement.

Compensation

$155,000 - $195,000 CAD base + benefits + equity
