Lime is hiring a Senior Associate Strategic Planning

Responsibilities

  • Manage the regional fleet allocation system by constructing, updating, and enhancing models, logic, and decision frameworks to determine fleet distribution, rebalancing, holding, or redeployment across markets.
  • Establish decision infrastructure through the development of dashboards, trackers, datasets, and regular reports to provide regional and local teams with clear insights into fleet availability, market demands, allocation discrepancies, and future decisions.
  • Analyze scenarios and evaluate trade-offs by quantifying allocation choices considering factors such as demand, utilization, revenue, return on investment, growth potential, budget limits, operational readiness, timing, and local market restrictions.
  • Convert data into actionable recommendations by interpreting complex operational, financial, and market data to offer clear guidance for leadership and local teams on fleet allocation decisions.
  • Support planning and forecasting efforts by providing analytical groundwork for annual planning, capital expenditure planning, budget forecasting, market launches, scaling initiatives, and periodic fleet reviews.
  • Standardize allocation procedures by creating reproducible frameworks, input templates, decision rules, and model documentation to ensure consistency, transparency, and scalability in allocation decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and local markets to gather inputs, verify assumptions, and ensure allocation models align with operational realities.
  • Monitor allocation outcomes by tracking post-allocation performance, comparing actual results with projected impacts, identifying logic gaps, and continuously refining the allocation framework.
  • Enhance data quality and automation by identifying deficiencies in current tools, data processes, and reporting methods, and developing more efficient, automated solutions to support fleet allocation decisions.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in strategy and operations, business intelligence, consulting, project management, or another analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and strong data management abilities.
  • Experience with SQL and building dashboards.
  • Ability to use data-driven judgment to transform complex data, operational insights, and financial information into clear recommendations, priorities, and trade-off decisions.
  • Demonstrated project execution skills, including supporting cross-functional projects from planning to completion, with effective organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of translating analysis into concise recommendations, action plans, and updates for leadership.
  • Operational judgment to assess whether plans are analytically sound and practically executable by local teams.
  • Independent working style, comfortable with ambiguity, able to handle multiple tasks, and skilled at escalating risks or obstacles when necessary.
  • Experience in global collaboration, adept at working across regions and time zones, and adapting to diverse regulatory, operational, and market environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-growth or early-stage company environment.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of EPM tools like Anaplan, budget forecasting, capital expenditure planning, or financial planning processes.
  • Background in mobility, logistics, marketplaces, supply chain, inventory planning, asset-heavy operations, international operations, or planning cycles.
  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s or equivalent analytical training.
