Lead the architectural vision for large-scale data center projects as a Senior Architect focused on hyperscale cloud and colocation facilities. In this remote U.S.-based role, you'll guide mission-critical developments from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring designs meet rigorous performance, compliance, and scalability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the architectural development of complex data center projects, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, client specifications, and regulatory codes.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and external partners to deliver fully integrated building solutions.
- Produce, review, and approve drawings, specifications, and technical documentation throughout all project phases.
- Act as the primary architectural authority for clients, providing expert guidance on facility design, operational resilience, and long-term adaptability.
- Support permitting efforts by engaging with authorities and consultants to ensure compliance and smooth project progression.
- Guide junior team members through mentorship and technical oversight, promoting design quality and innovation.
- Stay current with evolving data center technologies, design methodologies, and industry standards.
- Contribute to business development by supporting proposals and shaping conceptual designs for new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current license to practice architecture.
- Experience leading end-to-end delivery of mission-critical facilities, particularly hyperscale and colocation data centers.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full lifecycle design and implementation of high-performance data center environments.
