Responsibilities
- Lead test automation planning
- Architect test automation frameworks from scratch
- Drive and improve AQA process
- Manage, analyze, and mitigate automation risks
- Design automation test plans
- Evaluate, monitor, and work on increasing manual vs. automation test coverage and ROI
- Implement, maintain, and refactor automation scripts
- Execute automation scripts, log and evaluate the results
- Improve and extend the test framework
- Prepare automation reports for stakeholders in a “readable” format
- Use CI/CD tools for monitoring the development process
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Test Automation
- Practical experience with Protractor, Playwright or similar test automation frameworks
- Experience in building from scratch or/and extending of automation testing frameworks
- Experience with continuous integration and source control systems
- Good knowledge of JavaScript
- Profound knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience in logging and debugging tools
- Deep understanding of software testing processes, methodologies, and standards
- Ability to work using Agile methodologies
- Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript (would be a plus)
- Experience in BDD Frameworks (Cucumber) (would be a plus)
- Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS) and experience with cloud-native automation environments.
- Professional certification (ISTQB or similar methodologies) (would be a plus)
