About the Role
Design and build advanced Android applications while working closely with cross-functional teams to define, prototype, and ship new features.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance Android applications for entertainment platforms
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to refine user experience
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks
- Implement UI components following design specifications
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
- Optimize applications for responsiveness and scalability
- Stay current with Android platform developments
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Support testing and quality assurance processes
- Mentor junior developers on best practices
- Ensure compliance with security standards
- Work with backend teams to define service contracts
- Implement offline capabilities and data synchronization
- Use version control systems effectively
- Monitor app performance in production
- Respond to user feedback and analytics
Nice to Have
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of multimedia frameworks on Android
- Familiarity with DRM and content protection
- Experience in entertainment or media apps
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Experience with analytics platforms
- Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks

- Experience with internationalization
