Responsibilities
- Develop core, scalable Android systems used by multiple domain-focused engineering teams.
- Design and distribute modern SDKs to upgrade the technology stack and guide teams through adoption and migration.
- Optimize performance and reliability of Android development tools, including local environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage with internal developers through the Android guild and direct collaboration to understand platform needs and usage patterns.
- Support the creation and evolution of long-term technical strategies for the App Platform team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide internal developer support and resolve platform issues.

The App Platform team oversees architectural standards, code modularity, dependency control, and internal frameworks such as monitoring, notifications, and feature flags. Its main users are Android and iOS engineering teams.
