Zipdev is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join the Account & Loyalty team at a major airline. In this role, you will own core mobile experiences—from authentication to loyalty features—used by millions of passengers, designing and building high-impact features for the consumer app.
What You'll Do
- Design and build high-impact features for the consumer app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Champion modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) to ensure a scalable, testable, and robust codebase.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams, acting as the technical voice translating complex problems into solutions.
- Own critical user journeys including authentication, profile management, and Rapid Rewards loyalty features.
- Engage daily with the team to build trust and camaraderie across borders.
- Travel to the US three times a year for in-person collaboration, strategy sessions, and cultural immersion.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience implementing new features on consumer-facing Android applications used by millions of users.
- Must be located in LATAM.
