As a Senior Analytics Engineer focused on Solana, you will play a central role in advancing our understanding of blockchain validator economics and ecosystem trends. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions around network validation, product development, and long-term protocol sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate validator performance metrics, staking yield structures, and revenue factors across blockchain networks
- Investigate protocol design elements such as incentive models, consensus mechanics, and network-level behaviors
- Uncover optimization opportunities in validator operations and staking strategies
- Track developments across the blockchain landscape to identify strategic shifts, risks, and emerging trends
- Generate data-driven insights to guide business, product, and validation decisions
- Design and implement end-to-end data systems—from modeling and analysis to production deployment
- Manage and enhance data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and network monitoring
- Specify data needs for engineering teams, including required granularity, update frequency, and quality standards
- Oversee domain-specific data marts and ensure transparent data provenance from source to output
- Develop interactive dashboards and analytical tools for internal stakeholders
- Deliver targeted analysis and ongoing data support across teams
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with Solana blockchain data
- Strong command of advanced SQL, including complex joins and window functions (Google BigQuery environment)
- Proficiency in analytical Python libraries for data analysis and modeling
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Airflow and DBT
- Solid foundation in data research, probability, and mathematical statistics, with experience in regression models and A/B testing
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear, evidence-based narratives
- Experience managing analytical tasks from scoping to delivery
- Fluent professional English (B2 or higher)
