Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data models and transformation pipelines using dbt to convert raw data into trusted, production-ready datasets for enterprise financial analysis.
- Create and manage a centralized semantic layer to unify definitions of key financial and operational KPIs such as revenue, retention, customer growth, usage, margin, and forecasting inputs.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and leadership teams to build clear, actionable dashboards and analytical interfaces that reflect business performance indicators like annual recurring revenue and net revenue retention.
- Define and promote data modeling standards that ensure accuracy, efficiency, ease of use, and long-term sustainability across data systems.
- Drive data governance programs focused on maintaining high data quality, consistency, comprehensive documentation, and secure access controls throughout the analytics environment.
- Formalize financial metric logic, business rules, and accounting context to support emerging AI capabilities such as natural language queries, automated reporting, and anomaly detection.
