The Senior Analyst, Valuation & Investments plays a key role in shaping the future of clean energy by evaluating new investment opportunities across solar, wind, and energy storage projects. You will develop comprehensive financial models to assess project feasibility, returns, and risk factors, supporting strategic decisions within the U.S. Renewables portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain financial models to evaluate greenfield development and M&A opportunities, ensuring accuracy and clarity in projected outcomes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Engineering, and Commercial to identify value drivers and potential risks in renewable projects.
- Analyze various financing structures, including debt, tax equity, and project-level equity, to optimize investment strategies.
- Present financial insights to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, templates, and processes to increase efficiency and decision-making quality.
- Support the development of regional investment strategies that align with long-term growth and sustainability goals.
What We're Looking For
- Background in renewable energy finance with understanding of U.S. power markets, particularly solar, wind, and battery storage.
- Proven experience building and managing complex financial models involving multiple capital structures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Collaborative mindset with curiosity and a drive to learn and improve processes.
- Must be based in or open to relocating to New York City or Arlington, with preference given to Arlington.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a salary range of $87,000 to $104,550 per year, plus an annual bonus. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life coverage, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave.
Work Environment
