About the Role

A leading organization is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to shape the future of intelligent customer engagement. In this role, you'll lead the design and implementation of large language model (LLM) and natural language processing (NLP) systems that power high-volume interactions across voice and chat platforms. You'll be responsible for building scalable AI architectures, particularly for interactive voice response (IVR) and conversational AI, while ensuring robust performance and real-world applicability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-powered IVR and dialogue systems using Python and modern NLP techniques
  • Develop bilingual English-Spanish translation pipelines to support multilingual customer experiences
  • Analyze large datasets from voice interactions using SQL to derive actionable insights
  • Engineer and optimize LLM workflows including prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation frameworks
  • Lead the development of agentic AI systems that manage complex, multi-step customer journeys
  • Define and implement LLMOps standards covering monitoring, model evaluation, and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate closely with speech engineering, IVR platform, and product teams to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Guide and mentor junior and offshore engineers to strengthen team capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Strong command of Python for AI development and system integration
  • Proven background in NLP tasks such as text classification and clustering
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and RAG implementations
  • Experience building agentic AI systems and orchestrating multi-agent workflows
  • Familiarity with LLMOps or MLOps practices in production environments
  • Knowledge of IVR platforms and speech technologies including automatic speech recognition (ASR), natural language understanding (NLU), and text-to-speech (TTS)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
  • Familiarity with LLMOps tools including MLflow, Weights & Biases, BentoML, or Airflow

Technology Environment

You'll work with a modern AI stack including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, Sentence-Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Oracle, MySQL, SQLAlchemy, and vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, and Qdrant.
