Responsibilities
- Create and sustain sophisticated software systems for modern and existing aviation platforms
- Develop, maintain, and support widely used engineering tools including IBM DOORS and DOORS NG, IBM ELM, Siemens Teamcenter, NX, JIRA, and other Atlassian products
- Provide technical support for tools managing product and application lifecycles
- Act as a liaison between Engineering, IT departments, and external technology providers
- Assist in configuring systems to meet export compliance and legacy infrastructure requirements
- Contribute to shared tooling strategies and system migration initiatives
- Support the upgrade and modernization of software applications
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to establish software requirements and technical specifications
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of software tools to ensure reliability and performance
- Monitor advancements in technology and industry practices to foster innovation
- Travel up to 25% of the time for work-related purposes
