Senior Accountant – Take ownership of critical accounting functions in a forward-thinking, agile setting. You'll manage intricate financial close tasks, including high-complexity accruals and estimates, while guiding less experienced team members through accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of core accounting deliverables, focusing on technically demanding areas such as revenue recognition and financial estimates
- Review and supervise daily accounting activities performed by junior accountants
- Identify technical or procedural issues and develop practical, sustainable solutions
- Collaborate with senior financial staff to support client reporting and special assignments
- Design and refine accounting workflows, system configurations, and close processes for greater efficiency
- Document procedures and help establish consistent, high-quality service delivery standards
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably from a Big 4 or public audit background
- Strong grasp of GAAP, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting fundamentals
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, cloud-based accounting platforms, and digital collaboration tools
- A growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
