Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by executing sales strategies for digital audio measurement products, including podcasting and streaming audio services, aligned with company objectives.
  • Foster a performance-oriented culture centered on accountability, innovation, and ongoing enhancement in the evolving digital audio sector.
  • Track personal sales metrics and KPIs to detect performance gaps and apply corrective measures.
  • Achieve new business sales goals targeting podcast networks, streaming platforms, and digital audio publishers through strategic planning and execution.
  • Analyze market dynamics, competitor actions, and industry shifts in podcasting and streaming audio to uncover opportunities and respond to challenges.
  • Proactively identify and secure new clients among major digital audio platforms and publishers to surpass annual sales quotas.
  • Manage and grow relationships with C-level executives such as CEOs, CDOs, CMOs, and VPs of Revenue or Sales within target accounts.
  • Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing clients within the audio measurement portfolio.
  • Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closure, often under tight deadlines.
  • Design complex commercial agreements with large media organizations and demonstrate advanced negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Establish and sustain strong executive-level relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders through virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Represent the company at key industry events like Podcast Movement and IAB Podcast Upfronts to enhance brand presence and expand professional networks.
  • Act as a recognized expert and influencer in digital audio measurement trends and practices.
  • Serve as a technical and strategic expert during client presentations, clearly articulating the value of data-driven insights for solving business challenges in audio.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise on the digital audio ecosystem, including business models, competitive offerings, audience measurement standards, and emerging trends.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of audio ad tech, including programmatic advertising, SSPs, DSPs, and ad verification and attribution systems.
  • Create and implement territory-specific strategic plans for assigned clients and prospects in podcasting and digital audio publishing.
  • Collaborate with account management and leadership to pinpoint high-potential product opportunities across audio measurement services.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to share market feedback, shape product development, and ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Coordinate with operations, marketing, enablement, and product teams to deliver a unified customer experience and boost satisfaction.
  • Help design and execute tailored sales strategies for clients in the digital audio space, supporting team efforts to strengthen key relationships and advance initiatives.
  • Convert complex measurement technologies into clear, client-focused value propositions.
  • Demonstrate strong self-direction and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment with limited oversight.
  • Keep accurate records of sales forecasts, activities, and performance data using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Maintain a precise and up-to-date sales pipeline in Salesforce to ensure reliable reporting and forecasting accuracy.
