BANCO GUAYAQUIL S.A. is hiring a Segment Analyst to propel the development of the SME segment. In this role, you will analyze information, generate insights, and understand customer needs to identify commercial opportunities, improve profitability, and enhance the bank's solution offerings.
What You'll Do
- Detect cross-sell, up-sell, and financial deepening opportunities within SME clients.
- Identify sectors, zones, or subsegments with the highest growth and profitability potential.
- Define and strengthen the commercial framework for the SME segment.
- Provide the commercial team with tools, guides, and metrics to improve client acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.
- Analyze portfolio, transaction, channel usage, and financial product data to identify patterns, commercial opportunities, risks, and digital adoption gaps.
- Support the definition, parameterization, and implementation of financial products and solutions for SMEs across the bank's systems and channels.
- Track commercial campaigns, leads, executive productivity, and portfolio management to ensure process compliance and service quality.
- Manage and monitor key SME segment indicators like portfolio growth, profitability, margins, risk, and efficiency by sector to evaluate impact and prioritize strategic actions.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in areas related to: Customer segmentation, Business Intelligence (BI), Commercial planning or strategy, Financial portfolio or product analysis, SME or corporate banking.
- Proven experience in: Customer and portfolio behavior analysis, Tracking business and segment profitability indicators, Developing strategic reports and dashboards for decision-making, Generating insights and commercial proposals based on data, Coordinating with commercial, product, and risk areas.
Nice to Have
- Preferred specialization or diploma in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, or Finance.
- Preferred certifications or training in: Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, Strategic management or commercial planning, Data analytics and visualization.
