Responsibilities
- Guide the design and deployment of foundational security components used across the cloud data platform.
- Convert strategic security objectives into actionable, prioritized technical initiatives for cloud infrastructure and platform teams.
- Serve as an active technical contributor by writing, reviewing, and refining production code and leading design discussions.
- Champion secure-by-default development practices and create reusable libraries to standardize security across engineering groups.
- Develop the core framework for a centralized software security engineering system to host shared tools and services.
- Partner with product, platform, site reliability, and compliance teams to deliver effective and user-friendly security solutions.
- Improve overall security resilience using automation, enforcement mechanisms, and policy defined through code.
