Responsibilities
- Analyze and audit code within the vehicle software platform to detect security flaws using automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Lead efforts in security verification and validation, acting as the primary contact for related initiatives.
- Establish test environments for conducting penetration tests and risk evaluations in automotive systems.
- Actively contribute to resolving security issues by implementing short-term fixes and coordinating long-term solutions with software development teams.
- Support the design of secure vehicle software platforms, connected vehicle systems, and autonomous driving architectures.
- Perform practical security testing and risk analysis to classify and prioritize threats and vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate and rank mitigation approaches according to their effectiveness and associated risk levels.
- Collaborate with internal business units to build secure automotive solutions aligned with ISO 21434 and UN R155 requirements.
- Partner with software, security, and systems engineering teams to integrate and enhance security practices across the organization.
- Engage with clients to support the delivery of secure automotive technologies and solutions.
