Responsibilities
- Evaluate and audit code within a vehicle software platform to detect security flaws using automated tools and testing methods.
- Lead security verification and validation programs and act as the primary contact for related initiatives.
- Establish test environments for conducting penetration tests and risk evaluations in automotive systems.
- Actively contribute to resolving security vulnerabilities by implementing fixes and coordinating long-term solutions with software teams.
- Support the design of secure vehicle software platforms, connected vehicle systems, and autonomous vehicle architectures.
- Perform practical security assessments and analyze risks to determine the severity of threats and bugs.
- Evaluate different risk mitigation approaches and prioritize actions based on potential impact.
- Collaborate with internal business units to build secure automotive solutions aligned with ISO 21434 and UN R155 requirements.
- Partner with software, security, and systems engineering teams to integrate and improve security practices.
- Engage with external customers to support the delivery of secure automotive technologies.
