Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert on customer firewall, VPN, load balancer, and related network technologies
- Oversee ongoing firewall operations and maintain accurate documentation of the existing network environment
- Integrate formal change management practices into all operational workflows and procedures
- Diagnose and resolve high-priority security incidents involving firewall platforms such as Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Check Point, and Cisco ASA
- Analyze and fix issues with SSL and IPSec VPNs, DNS and IP address management systems including Infoblox, and secure remote access solutions like Ivanti Connect Secure and Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of routing problems involving Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), policy-based routing, and Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) architectures

- Perform deep-dive diagnostics for routing issues involving Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), policy-based routing, and Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) overlays
