Responsibilities

• Challenge advanced language models on topics such as energy transformation, atomic structure, planetary motion, ecological systems, the water cycle, and scientific inquiry
• Converse with the model on real-world scenarios and theoretical science questions
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses
• Document failure modes of the model
• Capture reproducible error traces
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

Requirements

• Fluency in Portuguese (Portugal)
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills — 'showing your work'
• Expertise in physical science, earth science, environmental science, chemistry, physics, astronomy, or scientific literacy
• Ability to supply a secure computer and high-speed internet

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in a science field
• Teaching experience
• Published work in science
• Lab or field research experience
• Science communication projects

Benefits

• Pay range of $8 to $65 per hour
• Contractor role with flexibility in work schedule
