About the Role
The Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, working closely with project managers and consultants to track progress and support timely delivery of objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using planning software
- Coordinate with project teams to gather scheduling inputs
- Monitor project progress against established timelines
- Update schedules regularly to reflect project changes
- Identify potential delays and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support change management processes with schedule impact analysis
- Prepare scheduling reports for project stakeholders
- Assist in milestone tracking and deadline forecasting
- Participate in project meetings to provide scheduling updates
- Ensure schedule documentation is accurate and up to date
- Integrate schedule data with cost and resource planning
- Maintain version control of schedule files
- Work with consultants to align subcontractor timelines
- Conduct schedule risk assessments
- Support progress measurement using earned value principles
- Provide input during project planning phases
- Track critical path activities and report on variances
- Assist in the development of look-ahead schedules
- Ensure compliance with client reporting requirements
- Use scheduling tools to model different project scenarios
Nice to Have
- Certification in project management or scheduling
- Experience with Primavera P6
- Background in construction or engineering consultancy
- Knowledge of BIM integration with scheduling
- Experience in international project delivery
