Responsibilities
- Create and enforce cleaning procedures to uphold facility hygiene standards.
- Supervise daily cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and pest prevention activities in alignment with regulations and industry standards.
- Perform routine facility inspections to evaluate sanitation levels and resolve issues quickly.
- Track inventory of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals, and manage vendor orders to maintain stock levels.
- Lead and train sanitation personnel, offering direction and performance evaluations to support protocol adherence.
- Oversee sanitation budget, identifying savings without reducing safety or quality.
- Remain current on federal, state, and local sanitation regulations, ensuring facility compliance and updating practices as needed.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and training to support audits and compliance verification.
- Enforce quality checks to confirm sanitation processes meet required benchmarks.
- Work with quality assurance teams to resolve sanitation issues impacting product safety.
- Support a safe work environment by enforcing safety rules, delivering safety training, and responding to incidents.
- Seek out and apply improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of sanitation workflows.
- Monitor advancements in sanitation technology and industry practices, recommending updates where appropriate.
Compensation
