Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
- Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals while following all PPE and safety requirements.
- Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation to ensure proper cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.
- Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris, rinsing surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of tools and chemicals.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a positive, safety-focused environment.
- Follow detailed sanitation procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
- Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness and meet operational goals.
- Other duties as assigned.

Nice to Have
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Sanitation experience preferred
- Poultry, food industry, manufacturing, or physical labor experience is a plus

Additional Information
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with some weekend work or overtime required
- Base hourly salary rate of $19.71 with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
- Company conducts drug, alcohol, and background checks for all new team members post-offer and prior to the start of employment
- Verification of employment eligibility must be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work
