As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead the design and execution of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions, ensuring technical excellence across core Salesforce clouds, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud. You'll serve as the go-to expert during project builds, guiding teams through complex development challenges and enforcing best practices in architecture and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical direction for large-scale Salesforce implementations, aligning platform capabilities with client business goals
- Conduct in-depth code reviews for Apex and Lightning Web Components, emphasizing secure coding standards, design patterns, and performance efficiency
- Design data models optimized for Large Data Volumes, ensuring fast queries and stable system performance
- Architect integration solutions using middleware like Mulesoft or Informatica, alongside native Salesforce patterns
- Implement modern development workflows using SFDX, CLI, version control, and CI/CD pipelines to support agile delivery
- Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements, assess existing systems, and translate complex needs into clear architectural plans
- Support sales efforts by evaluating technical feasibility and outlining high-level solution approaches
- Mentor developers and consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth across teams
Qualifications
You bring at least six years of hands-on Salesforce consulting experience, with a proven ability to design and deliver enterprise-level solutions. You have deep expertise in Apex architecture, platform limits, and modern development practices using SFDX and CLI. Your ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders is strong, and you’re comfortable leading technical discussions with clients.
Preferred candidates will have experience working with Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, designing unified customer profiles and personalized journeys. Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica or Mulesoft is highly valued. Background in nonprofit or higher education sectors is a distinct advantage.
