Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and marketing teams to align Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities with strategic goals
- Engage with CRM, data, technology, and marketing stakeholders to define requirements and shape solution design
- Convert business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items
- Oversee the maintenance and refinement of the Marketing Cloud backlog under senior guidance
- Take part in Agile rituals such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support testing activities, release coordination, and post-deployment validation processes
- Help create and distribute email and SMS communications to target audiences
- Configure, manage, and enhance the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for optimal performance
- Administer user access, roles, and permissions while following security and governance standards
- Develop and deploy responsive email templates and landing pages using AMPscript, CloudPages, and HTML/CSS
- Manage data extensions, audience segmentation models, and subscriber data structures
- Design and maintain automated workflows using Automation Studio and Journey Builder
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to campaigns and platform functionality
- Monitor system health, automation performance, and data accuracy across platforms
- Produce reports and dashboards to measure campaign performance and platform utilization
- Support the development and execution of lifecycle-based email marketing strategies
- Work with creative teams on content design, A/B testing, and dynamic content implementation
- Assist in managing campaign schedules and delivery timelines
- Promote best practices in email deliverability and audience targeting
- Evaluate campaign outcomes and report on key performance indicators and insights
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across marketing channels and stakeholder groups
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proven experience in configuring and supporting Marketing Cloud features and functions
- Experience using AMPscript and CloudPages for personalization and dynamic content
- Working proficiency in HTML and CSS for email and landing page development
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles such as segmentation, automation, and customer journey design
- Strong organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and creative departments
- Direct experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions
- Basic understanding of SQL for data segmentation and reporting
- Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM or external data systems
- Awareness of privacy regulations, consent management, and compliance standards
- Experience supporting marketing operations in a multi-brand or enterprise setting
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification, particularly Email Specialist or Administrator
