Responsibilities
- Build and configure Salesforce solutions aligned with federal requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to define technical specifications
- Support integration of Salesforce with external systems and databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues promptly
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
- Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance processes
- Document technical designs and system changes
- Ensure compliance with security and data handling standards
- Maintain existing Salesforce customizations and technical debt
- Assist in deployment of changes across multiple environments
- Provide input on system performance and optimization
- Support user acceptance testing and training activities
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and features
- Use Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL
- Work with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations
- Follow change management protocols for production releases
- Collaborate with business analysts to interpret requirements
- Support data migration and cleansing efforts
- Adhere to federal project timelines and reporting expectations
- Maintain version control using Git or similar tools
- Follow secure coding standards for government systems
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
