About the Role
The Sales Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational assistance to the sales team, ensuring efficient order processing, accurate customer data management, and timely resolution of client inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email
- Maintain up-to-date customer account information
- Assist sales representatives with proposal preparation
- Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams
- Track order status and provide updates to stakeholders
- Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with finance
- Support contract documentation and renewal processes
- Generate reports on sales activity and performance metrics
- Manage incoming requests through the customer service portal
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Input data into CRM systems with high accuracy
- Follow up on outstanding customer issues
- Assist in onboarding new clients
- Monitor inventory availability for customer orders
- Prepare pricing sheets for sales team use
- Organize sales-related documentation and files
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
