About the Role
The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational assistance to the sales team, ensuring efficient processing of orders, accurate data management, and strong customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer inquiries and sales requests across departments
- Maintain up-to-date records in the customer relationship management system
- Assist in preparing quotes and sales proposals for clients
- Track sales orders from initiation through fulfillment
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve customer issues
- Support the sales team with timely reporting and data analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Process sales contracts and related documentation
- Monitor inventory availability in coordination with supply chain
- Facilitate communication between sales representatives and technical teams
- Organize and distribute sales materials and product information
- Assist in onboarding new customers and partners
- Track and report on key sales performance metrics
- Respond to customer follow-ups within established timelines
- Support sales forecasting efforts with accurate data entry
- Coordinate logistics for sample and demo unit shipments
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and sales data
- Update sales dashboards and performance tracking tools
- Assist in preparing presentations for client meetings
- Identify process improvements in sales support workflows
- Support contract renewal and extension processes
- Manage customer contact lists and account updates
- Escalate technical or pricing issues to appropriate teams
- Ensure timely submission of sales-related documentation
- Collaborate with finance on invoice and payment status
