About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in shaping in-store success across major retail accounts in the Columbus, GA and Opelika, AL regions. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners such as The Home Depot and Lowe’s, ensuring effective product presentation and driving sales through data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales metrics to identify opportunities and present actionable insights during business reviews with retail clients
  • Lead, schedule, and evaluate a team of Merchandisers, including recruitment, training, and ongoing development
  • Coach team members to enhance performance and support career progression
  • Deliver product education and ensure consistent brand representation across all retail locations
  • Create and implement sales and marketing plans tailored to individual accounts
  • Oversee proper product placement and use of point-of-purchase displays to maximize visibility
  • Monitor and manage budget expenditures to maintain financial efficiency

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in retail, merchandising, or account management
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting tools and data analysis
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop field teams
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders up to 12 feet, lift 45 pounds, and work in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $59,700 to $70,200 annually, with bonus eligibility under corporate programs. Additional compensation includes fixed and variable vehicle reimbursement and a 15% discount on company stock.
